The jobs crunch remains a major obstacle to building the SA society. Ironically, having a job is the key to benefiting from delivery programmes and the social rights in the constitution. Unemployment is the major roadblock to reconciliation and justice.

The challenge is to continue to find ways to create or retain jobs. It is with regard to this latter aspect that the company Solutions for You is suggesting an exciting new concept to address unemployment and economic development.

The essence of this innovative concept is the recognition that a pool of well qualified, unemployed people is available in South Africa that can be mobilized to address specific needs. The innovative solution is the bringing together of the goodwill, financial resources and competencies of those partners who can and want to make a difference to unemployment and economic development! 

Solutions for You will identify unemployed graduates and diplomats with potential and manage their development by utilizing them on different projects in partnership with donors, organisations, government and other interested stakeholders. As such the organisation (Solutions for You) will act as the "broker or agent" between the various role players. This cost-effective approach is a creative solution to various critical areas of concern ie. unemployment, economic development ,service delivery and redistribution. The focus on the unemployed, qualified person is a critical element of the idea. These people have already demonstrated some potential and achievement drive. They already acquired skills and knowledge. They only need the opportunity to gain experience and to work. The tragedy of the situation is that the opportunities do exist in so many areas of our country. The trick lies in identifying the opportunities and mobilizing the available pool of skills. Such a process requires co-ordination, management and funding. Solutions for You has the expertise and experience to manage this process effectively. The only outstanding ingredient is the identification of partners that are willing to contribute financially towards the creation of a fund for this exciting project. The specific details of each project will be carefully planned in consultation with the relevant stakeholders. Our appeal is to all who are serious and committed to join in addressing these issues. Let us join hands and implement solutions that are sustainable and cost-effective. This is what our country needs !
